Walk. Give. Change the world.
Our community believes in ending hunger. And, in 2020, we will continue to fight against the new challenges of disease and disaster that leave people hungry. Join with us in raising funds to help neighbors near and far get the meals they need this year.
Walkers have reported $165 in online and offline gifts!
Find more details here.
We will tentatively plan to walk from our host congregation this year: Bethlehem UCC, but even if we can gather together come October, it will look different than in the past (no large gathering for send-off, no soup luncheon, etc). Please check back for more details, but our neighbors struggling with hunger and poverty here in Washtenaw County and around the world need us to come together (even if apart) now more than ever.
If we don't come together, we will find ways to virtually come together on Walk Day via our Facebook page and by you all emailing us photos on your socially distant Walks around Ann Arbor. This is where we also make real-time announcements in regard to our Walk.
How should you prepare?
1) Register yourself (and your team if you are Team Captain) online
2) Like the Ann Arbor CROP Hunger Walk on Facebook
3) It's not too early to invite people to walk with you and/or donate
4) Connect with other A2HungerWalkers across multiple platforms by using #A2HungerWalk and #VirtualCROPHungerWalk
Find more information on how to be successful and help our vulnerable neighbors if we have to go Virtual here: https://resources.crophungerwalk.org/covid-19-and-crop-hunger-walks/
Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world.
