As a church called to serve joyfully, our team is taking action this year to help families living with hunger. We're asking everyone who can to help Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Michigan/Lord of Light Lutheran Church reach these two goals:
1) more meals for the growing number of people who need them in our community, and
2) more food security around the world.
Please donate to our team today to make these goals a reality!
- Lutheran Campus Ministry at U-M/Lord of Light
Deeply rooted in a tradition of social justice, the Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Michigan is committed to showing God's love to all people. We are openly and intentionally welcoming of everyone as beloved creations of God: Of any gender identity, ethnicity, denomination, or sexual orientation. As the campus ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) at the University of Michigan, we gather undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff together for worship, fellowship, and service activities. LCM is also the home of Lord of Light Lutheran Church, which was formed in the 1970’s by faculty and former students from the University of Michigan who wanted to worship in a student-centered community. Members currently help to support the campus ministry by worshiping with students and being a part of the campus ministry action team, which plans events and supports student activities.
