The Annual Southeast Berks Ministerium CROP Hunger Walk will be held on October 14th at the Daniel Boone Homestead. The afternoon begins at noon with a community picnic in the North Pavilions of the Homestead. Registration for the walk will be at 1:30 at the North Pavilions and the walk will begin at 2:00 PM. It is a 6k walk, 2x around the perimeter of the beautiful Daniel Boone Homestead!

Looking to make a difference in our community and around the world, the Southeast Berks Ministerium CROP Hunger Walk has set a goal of 125 walkers and hopes to raise $11,000 to help stop hunger and poverty here in our community and around the world, through self-help initiatives.  Last year over 100 walkers from seven local churches raised over $10,000. Twenty-five percent of the funds raised in this walk go to the Ministerium Emergency Fund and the Amity and Birdsboro Food Pantries. The remainder is used by Church World Service to fund domestic and international poverty and disaster relief.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world.
