It's almost October and for over 35 years for the Sumlin family that has meant it's time for the CROP Walk. The 2020 Walk will be virtual so I will be doing a solo walk around the Carmel Station neighborhood. As you know, it's been a hard year, and unfortunately, the number of families concerned about their next meal is on the rise. Second Harvest Food Bank, Loaves & Fishes, and Crisis Assistance Ministry all need help. When we think about the number of unemployed in our community - retail workers, waiters and waitresses, cafeteria workers, school bus drivers, and so many more, it's easy to see why the need is so great.
So again this year, I'm raising funds to assist families who are living on the edge. You have been so generous in supporting me in the past. Would you please help again? The steps we take and the funds we raise will make a real impact! Here is a link to my electronic fund-raising page. If you prefer to write a check, please email me and I will send you a stamped, pre-addressed envelope. Thank you and God's blessings to you.
