It's CROP Walk time!
This has been a different year for all of us, but more difficult for some, more than ever before. The funds raised at the CROP Walk will help people living with food insecurity, here in Elgin and around the world.
The annual walk in Elgin is not happening, but individuals from churches and organizations are either walking on their own or doing virtual walks.
I will be walking with my granddaughters, Amalia & Eva, with a small group (with masks and socially distanced) from Bethlehem Lutheran Church on Sunday, October 18, 2020.
We are raising funds to assist families who are living with hunger.
Will you help us?
As you know, it's been a hard year, and unfortunately, the number of families concerned about their next meal is on the rise.
It's easy and safe for you to donate online.
However, if you'd prefer to send a check, please send it to me or Bethlehem Lutheran Church. (340 Grand Blvd, Elgin IL 60120)
Checks payable to "CWS/CROP.
The CROP Hunger Walk means we can take action for someone experiencing hunger; it means someone will get enough to eat.
We would love it if you could help through a donation! The steps we take and the funds we raise - will make a difference!
