Out of an abundance of caution and to limit the numbers of people gathering, the Farmington/Farmington Hills/West Bloomfield CROP Hunger Walk is modifying our walk routine for Sunday, May 3.
Instead of gathering all together, each team, congregation, or individual will have their own walk in their own neighborhood and/or with their own team.
Team Captains should have their team complete the walk-day registration sheet and turn that in along with donations following the conclusion of the virtual Walks on May 3.
How do we walk virtually? It's EASY! Figure out where/when you'll Walk as above and collect donations as usual! If you're active on Facebook or Instagram, be sure to go live for the event wearing your CROP Hunger Walk gear and let your followers know why you're walking! Link them either to your online donation page here, or start a Facebook fundraiser (this would be on the "CWS" page, and be sure to put "FFHWB (MI) CROP Hunger Walk" somewhere in the Fundraiser's Title so our Walk gets the credit). PLUS- you can STILL collect regular cash and checks as usual too and simply be sure to get those to your Team Captain.
We will be raising much needed funds for the global hunger and poverty fighting work of CWS (which includes the great work done in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene [WASH] which we can all attest to the importance of right now) and the local hunger work of CARES of Farmington Hills, The Salvation Army of Farmington Hills, Farmington-Farmington Hills Neighborhood House, Yad Ezra, and Zaman International!

Together, we can raise funds, walk together and help end hunger in our community and around the world!
