We're walking to help our neighbors in need!

Helen Hutten

Once again, please join me in the CWS CROP Hunger Walk by donating to this effort to help our neighbors who are hungry or in need. Who are our neighbors? It could be anyone: A farmer in African whose fields won't yield enough food for his family due to years of drought; a single mother struggling to provide for her children; an elderly person having to chose between buying medicine or food. It could be you.

Many of those in North and South Carolina bearing the brunt of Hurricane Florence and the devastating floods have already been receiving aid from CWS. Any one of us who has experienced a flooded basement (or worse) can empathize with their anguish. Let's pitch in to help where we can!

CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events that bring people together in a common mission: helping hungry people at home and around the world. Of the funds collected, 25% goes to local agencies and 75% to agencies in other parts of the US and across the globe.

The steps we take - and the funds we raise - will make a real impact!
With grateful thanks,
- Helen
