Let's fight against hunger together
I've been a part of our Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk and Greensboro Urban Ministry since 1994 beginning with the Northeast-Browns Summit Satellite Walk. I'll let you figure the number of years! I also participated in walks in Lexington, NC, Dayton and Cincinnati, OH.
I walk and support CROP Hunger Walks because my family was once hungry and homeless when I was in elementary school. Our neighbors and folks in our community helped us during that crisis.
Because of that, I want to "pay it forward" so that others also in our local communities and communities around the world have nutritious food and water and shelter.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events that bring people together in a common mission: helping hungry people at home and around the world.
I'm excited to be part of it and would love to have you join me on this journey. The steps we take - and the funds we raise - will make a real impact!
Join me and all the rest of us in the Greater Greensboro CROP Hunger Walk to end hunger.
