Walk.   Give.   Change the world.

Our community believes in ending hunger. And, in 2020, we will continue to fight against the new challenges of disease and disaster that leave people hungry. Join with us in raising funds to help neighbors near and far get the meals they need this year.

Walkers have reported $3,625 in online and offline gifts!
Find more details here.

Walking the 5k on your own or organize your family, close friends and/or church members to do a Walk around your Church or Community (please social distance & wear masks).

This year’s CROP Walk is October 18, 2020. We are unable to meet as a large group, but here are still many ways you can support the CROP Walk this year.

Below are some ideas that you may be able to use.

Make signs to carry with you so others may see that you are CROP Walking. Take photos of your walk
with a brief write up about who, what, where, when, why you walked and send them to
        Samantha.neely@gmail.com.
Contact Kathy for CROP stickers to wear (kneely@cpucc.org or 717-545-3782). If you have a CROP
Shirt or Hat, be sure to sport it!
If you are neighborhood CROP Walking—consider a Collection Container —so you may offer others
the opportunity to help those who are hungry.
Collect canned food and drop it of at Colonial Park UCC –and they will deliver it to the Manna Food Pantry.

Consider taking a church offering for CROP Walk. Be sure to direct people to your online CROP Walk sponsor button. For those who don’t compute, convert cash to check and send with your name and church name to Kathy Neely, Treasurer, Colonial Park UCC, 5000 Devonshire Road, Hbg. 17109 by November 1.
If you can’t have the CROP Walk on October 18, have it when you are able.

Promote your CROP Walk by accessing promotional materials at https://resources.crophungerwalk.org/resources/promote-your-walk/.

There you’ll find bulletin inserts (if you church is meeting in person), sample announcements, posters, and logo information. You can also find specific virtual walk resources here: https://resources.crophungerwalk.org/virtual-walks/

Have Fun!

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world.
