Three, our Magic Number this year! Our 30th Walk + 300 (at least) neighbors Walking 3 miles= reaching our $30,000 goal!

The 3 mile experiential Walk will be through historic downtown Lex. Our church bus will drive for those unable to walk and will stop at each educational station along the route.  Our Walk is ‘green’ so bring your own bottle which can be refilled midway at the water station.  Bicycles, skate boards, and skates not allowed since we walk on the sidewalks. Dogs, strollers, wagons are OK.

Recruiter’s Rally, Thurs. Aug. 17th, 7-8:30 PM at Second Presbyterian Church.  Andrew Gifford, our Community Engagement Specialist with Church World Service and Alice Rogers, God’s Pantry Food Bank, will share how the funds we raise help fight hunger around the world and in our communities.

Our ecumenical Youth Poster-making & Pizza Party will be Sun. Sept. 17th, 4-6 PM, Crestwood Christian Church, Bellefonte Dr., Lex. To witness youth from different congregations and faiths gather to fellowship and create together exciting, colorful, meaningful posters to carry WALK DAY is heartwarming and energizing to all present….and pleasing to God.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world!
