Long Beach CROP Hunger Walk Sunday, October 20

Walk.   Give.   Change the world.

Walkers have reported $50 in online and offline gifts!
Find more details here.

This Walk is repeating its route from 2018 = same location, same start time, AND SAME FREE LUNCH (from 1:30 to 2:30) offered to all Walk participants courtesy
of "BEYOND MEAT." The route is the same as well = fairly flat, 5K (3.1 miles) in the leafy Northeast Long Beach/Lakewood area.

We are seriously celebrating 50 years of national CropWalks on this Walk: Walkers are encouraged to chip in $50 of their own or their family's donation; or to try to get 50 sponsors from their congregation; or to find as many sponsors as possible to contribute $50 each; or to utilize other "50-oriented" creative ideas.

Sponsored locally by the South Coast Interfaith Council, the Walk benefits 5 local charities that deal directly with hungry people, including Catholic Charities, Christian Outreach in Action, Lutheran Social Services, Su Casa Family Crisis & Support Center, and Urban Community Outreach.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world!
