Because of these trying times, the Rotary Club of Martha's Vineyard has not been able to host our traditional fundraisers: Run the Chop Challenge (with Murdick's Fudge), Lobster Raffle, Pancake Breakfast, and Golf Tournament (with MV Community Services.)
Monies raised over the years have gone to support a vast number of Island organizations, as well as co-fund a scholarship for a talented MVRHS student.
While the Crop Walk funds that we raise will not go directly into our coffers, the Rotary Club of Martha's Vineyard wants to do our part to support the terrific effort to help fight hunger here on Martha's Vineyard and throughout the world.
Some members of the Rotary Club will be walking on Sunday, October 18th, and we'd love anyone interested to solicit donations here on this page and join our walk (bring your mask and water bottle.)
We will walk a four mile loop from the Field Club in Katama, down to South Beach, along Atlantic Drive, and then across Crocker Drive back to the Field Club.
Please meet at noon at the Field Club parking lot (16 Field Club Lane, Edgartown, MA 02539)
Please donate to our team today to make these goals a reality!
