Register today for 6th annual CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, October 7th.  Since 2013, this walk with hundreds of people of all ages from all sorts of interest groups, educational and faith institutions has raised almost $85,000!

The local recipient of this CROP Hunger Walk is Ecumenical Hunger Project in East Palo Alto.

Our walk symbolizes the daily walk many must make for water, food, shelter and protection.  As one of the nation’s nine refugee resettlement agencies, Church World Service (CWS) is familiar with how devastating the journey for resources can be.  Money raised supports food programs in emergency response, as well as longer-term solutions like enhancing food security and providing sustainable safe water supplies.   Through our collaboration 75% of funds raised supports CWS’ global development work.  The remaining 25% stays in the community.

Last year’s CROP Hunger Walk raised over $16,000.   We would like to send out a BIG thank you to our 2017 participants and hope that you can join us again in support of this important work.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world!
