Join us in walking to fight hunger globally and locally.  75% of the money raised will be used to fight hunger globally. 25% of the money stays in Skagit County to support local food banks and meal programs such as Friendship House and others as distributed by the Skagit Food Distribution Center. See below for a list of benefitting agencies.

The Walk date is Sunday, Sept. 30. Check in starts at 1:30 with the Walk starting at 2:00pm  Parking is at Mt. Vernon Christian School and check-in is at the flagpole on Blackburn Street.  The walk route is 3.4 miles, down 3rd Street, through downtown Mt. Vernon and up to the Lions Park, taking the scenic Mt. Vernon Riverwalk back.  There is also a shorter 1 mile route available.

Strollers and dogs on leashes are welcome. A water table is provided at the Friendship House and refreshments and water are provided at the end of the walk. 

If you would like to designate your donation specifically to a sister agency, be sure to specify under the "Alternate Agency" option that appears on the payment method screen.   All undesignated donations will go to support hunger relief program through Church World Service. Online registration and donations are encouraged, but will also be accepted the day of the walk.
