Tioga County Rural Ministry has served the county for now over 35 years. It is dedicated to serving the ‘least of these.’ This ministry makes our county a better place by meeting the needs of others. Their pantry is open Monday - Thursdays from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. and Fridays from 10 a.m. -1 p.m.
ACT (Allied Christians of Tioga) Weekly Dinner serves a free nutritious meal on Thursday evenings from 5-6 p.m. at the Baptist Church in Owego to anyone in Tioga County. This agency is supported by local Christian churches who take turns preparing the meals.
Bread of Life Food Pantry is an emergency food resource for those living in the Candor School District. They are a participant of the Southern Tier Food Bank open on Wednesdays from 3-5:30 p.m.
Catholic Charities - Tioga Outreach serves all Tioga County residents with emergency financial assistance, food, free clothing and personal care items to those in need. Hours of operation are Tuesday - Friday 9-11:45 a.m. and 1-2:45 p.m.
Community Food Cupboard provides emergency food for residents in the Spencer-VanEtten School District. Hours are on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 9-11 a.m. and the last Thursday of the month from 9-11 a.m.
Lounsberry Food Pantry provides emergency food resources for those in the area. This pantry is open the second Monday and third Saturday of each month from 12-3 p.m. Located in the Lounsberry Methodist Church.
