Richmond CROP Hunger Walk Sunday, September 30

Walk.   Give.   Change the world.

Walkers have reported $11,116 in online and offline gifts!
Find more details here.

Please join us for the 48th Richmond CROP Hunger Walk as we walk in solidarity with our neighbors all around the world who have to walk long distances daily for food and water. Funds raised from the walk provide food and other resources for families in Richmond and around the world.

Bring the entire family to this family friendly event.  Take a picture at the photo booth, get a temporary ""Ending Hunger One Step at a Time"" tattoo and enjoy live music.

New this year:
The walk will begin and end at Ginter Park United Methodist Church. Route maps will be available on walk day.

Pre-walk activity - walkers will have an opportunity to put together hygiene kits before the walk starts. Please plan to arrive early to assist with this activity. Hygiene kits are provided to displaced families by Church World Service when disasters occur in cities across the US as well as around the world.

Needed:
Volunteers to assist with walk day tasks. Please contact Gail Christie if you would like to volunteer.

Learn about how CROP Hunger Walk funds are used in Richmond and around the world to address hunger and poverty issues, learn strategies for recruiting walkers and raising more funds and pick up walk materials.

Together, we can help end hunger in our community and around the world!
