Wake Forest CROP Hunger Walk Sunday, September 23

Walk.   Give.   Change the world.

Join us for the 38th Annual Wake Forest CROP Hunger Walk on Sunday, September 23rd.  The walk will begin and end at the Wake Forest Historical Birthplace Museum, 414 North Main Street, Wake Forest, NC  27587.  The route is 5K with a 1.5 mile option on sidewalks that include a view of beautiful historic homes in Wake Forest and part of the seminary's campus.

Invite your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers to this fun, family friendly event with music and educational activities for all ages.  Take a picture at our CROP Hunger Walk picture booth, get your ""Ending Hunger One Step at a Time"" temporary tattoo, visit the water carry station and learn about the local and global impact of your support.

Registration for individuals and teams starts at 1:30pm.  Sign in, turn in your team captain's envelope or individual envelope and pick up your walk partner card. Kick-off is at 2:30pm after walkers have warmed up with Zumba instructor Maria.

Twenty-five percent of the funds raised will benefit Tri-area Ministry and Hope House and other funds will be used by Church World Service in the U.S. and globally for emergency food  supplies, agricultural training, livestock, wells and pumps, farm seeds and farm equipment.

Please like us on Facebook and share walk information with the community.

Pick up team captain packets and other walk materials, hear from local hunger fighting agency representatives and learn strategies to grow your team.
