Youngstown CROP Hunger Walk Sunday, October 11

Walk.   Give.   Change the world.

Our community believes in ending hunger. And, in 2020, we will continue to fight against the new challenges of disease and disaster that leave people hungry. Join with us in raising funds to help neighbors near and far get the meals they need this year.

Walkers have reported $100 in online and offline gifts!

In spite of the pandemic, life goes on and so does the issue of hunger. We know you will stand up for the poor, the forgotten and those left behind by partnering with the Youngstown CROP Hunger Walk to raise funds to provide just and sustainable solutions to end hunger in the Mahoning Valley and around the world.

We are sensitive to social distancing during this time; so, we will be “Walking together apart” on Sun, Oct 11, at 2 pm. This year’s CROP Hunger Walk will take place VIRTUALLY, which means we will walk on the same day and time on our own or with our immediate family or with a group of 10 or less abiding by our Health Dept.’s mandatory and best practice guidelines in an outdoor location within our own communities.

You are highly encouraged to TAKE ACTION now and register online as a walker (and as Team Captain also register your team) by going to crophungerwalk.org/youngstownoh, click on “register,” follow the prompts and start fundraising.

A drive-thru of safely pre-packaged resources: Team Captain Guide, Team Captain’s Packet, Donation Envelopes and CROP Hunger Walk yard signs, will be available Sat, Aug 1, from 9 - noon at Poland UM Church, 1940 Boardman Poland Rd, Poland, OH.
